Enviroprobe 1700 (2004) push tube drill is in good mechanical condition and is ideal for tight access work.
Mounted on a single axle one-off purpose-built rig with capabilities for augering ( 6 x1.5m x 125mm solid augers with subs), wash boring for well installations, and geotechnical investigations ( 13m x NW casing with subs, swivel, hoses, pump and attachments) and fitted with an Atlas Copco Hammer and 20m x Geoprobe Macro-Core direct push soil core sampling rod strings, cutting shoes, drives, sampling tubes, soil catchers and caps, etc for environmental drilling ( acid sulfate, contaminated land, and PFAS investigations, hydrocarbons, etc ) .
The machine has also done 13m of compressor downhole hammering through pink granite for monitor well and earth rod installations has 8 tonnes pushing and 10 Tonne pulling power.
Originally fitted to a track ditch witch then a John Deer Tractor then to the current owner-built Hilux 1L 2.2 Litre Diesel engine powered ( Economical) galvanised trailer running Toyota Land Cruiser leaf spring suspension with a 50mm solid axle and electric drum brakes. Modifications include 1000kg winch mast extensions (3-6m),100-150mm x 400mm concrete coring attachment, and many mini sampling tubes for special jobs.
The rig has so many spare subs, hoses, bolts, clamps, polymers, bentonite pellets, PVC well lengths and fittings, rod racks, and even a SPARE ENGINE !!
